AUDIT
An independent, expert view of a company's processes
WHAT IS IT?
Audit
is the process of thoroughly analyzing and evaluating the current state, i.e., the currently functioning processes in a company. Auditors conduct a detailed observation of processes, workstations to assess the company's lead time, efficiency, and to estimate its potential.
During the audit, areas that can be improved are identified, and recommendations for improvement are presented in a final report. The final report also includes the cost of implementing the recommended optimizations and a calculation of the return on investment. The audit is the first step in starting the company's continuous improvement process.
